Plants (just like other living organisms) have enemies in the form of insects and diseases. These pests can be devastating if they grow unconstrained. The most important way to keep pests and disease below damaging levels is to have healthy plants. The healthier the plants, the better they can defend themselves against insects and diseases.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

If the level of pests reach damaging numbers, intervention can be indispensable. Keep in mind that preventative measures should be the first line of defense, with the goal of eliminating the need to take curative action.
